About Your Reflexologist

Ash Wilson
Diploma in Clinical Reflexology SCQV Level 8 Accredited by Napier University.
Clinical reflexology is the highest level available in the UK and provides students with an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology as well as reflexology techniques that allow me to tailor your treatment to your needs.
I have always had an interest in complementary and alternative therapies, and have been very open to their benefits, whether it be for general relaxation or more specific purposes over the years. I have experience of receiving fertility reflexology, then maternity reflexology to support me during my pregnancies, and more recently I have reaped the benefits of how reflexology can be beneficial during the shifts and changes of perimenopause.
I have worked with children and young people who have experienced bereavements since 2010, supporting them through their journeys as they explore their story from their perspective, working on memories and feelings linked with their grief, and developing coping strategies for them to live well with their grief. Alongside this I decided to retrain in 2022 and achieved my Diploma in Clinical Reflexology with distinction in 2023. I have also completed Gentle Touch Reflexology for Babies and Children, to be able to expand whom can benefit from reflexology. I truly believe that reflexology can support and aid all ages and stages of life.
I am constantly amazed by how individuals respond to reflexology and how the body utilises the treatments to restore and rebalance itself. I frequently use it on my family and myself for daily calming and minor ailments, and find it so helpful during periods of adjustments and change, such as new school year, new activity groups, flight and holidays sleep disturbances and digestive upsets. I often have a pair of my children’s feet on my knee to help with one thing or another!
It is always a pleasure to meet new clients and listen to your story, develop your individual treatment plan, and let the reflexology do its work. I work from my home in Northeast Edinburgh. I currently work with female clients only, and unfortunately, I do not see male clients unless I know them, they are referred to me from a friend, client or I know the family.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists, hold valid insurance and up to date PVG from Disclosure Scotland for working with children.
